日曜に表参道であったパレードに行ってきた
アイルランド人かは、不明だけど、たくさん外国人来てた～★

トロントに行くまでは、こんな文化知らなかったな。
自分のアンテナを少し高くするだけで、色々東京にいながらにして楽しめるのね～

On March 17th, its St.Patrick's Day
Its a Irish traditional national day. The day roots from praising St.Patrick, who propagated Chrirtianity in Ireland in 5th centry.

On the day, they put on something green which is symbol colour of Ireland, and they have three-leaf plants, shamlock.
This parade in Tokyo started in 1992, and its getting bigger and bigger as years go by.

It was fun to feel Irish culture in Harajuku. I was surprised to know that many Irish ppl are living in Japan. Im not sure if most foreigners who were there were from Ireland, though.

It reminded me of the time when I was in Toronto. I put on green clothes and had green beer!!

I dont know where we can drink green beer here, but it would be a good experience if you can try one.

Tmrw, at many Irish pubs,you can drink 1pint of beer at 500yen

デュッセルドルフにあるノルトライン=ヴェストファーレン州立美術館が所蔵する
西欧近代美術のコレクションを一挙に公開。

特に、ピカソとクレー作品のコレクションは、特に高い評価を受けている。

今回、美術館が改修工事のため休館する機をとらえ、
このコレクションを世界に先駆け日本で初めて大々的に紹介する展覧会が実現。

同館が誇るピカソとクレーの名作を中心に、ミロ、マティス、シャガール、マグリット、エルンストなど西欧近代美術の人気作家、そしてマックス・ベックマンやフランツ・マルク、オスカー・シュレンマーなどドイツ近代美術を代表する作家を含む厳選された23作家の名品で、20世紀前半という極めて魅力的な美術の世界を展観。

土曜のお昼に行ったけど、そんなに混んでなかった

絵画数は、70点弱と少なめだったけど、
結構いい作品が多かった。
系統別になっており、見やすかった。

個人的には、ピカソの「鏡の前の女」　が好きだった

ピカソはかなり観てるけど、
とても平和な、外からの風がそよぐ感じが伝わってくるほんわかした作品。

天性のプレーボーイ、ピカソも、落ち着いて、人を愛してる時期もあるのかなぁ、と
感じた作品でした


もちろんクレーもよかった。
きっと穏やかな人だったんだろうなぁ。

さて、来週は、ルーブル展、楽しみだ♪

金とパワーに次第に貪欲になっていくサリーム。


人生への”ファイナルアンサー”を出していく、対照的な２人を描いた作品。

そりゃぁ、アカデミー賞９部門ノミネートもうなづける。

日本では、4月公開のようです。

Then, they got 12pounds cute cute Labrador, sooner growing into 100 pounds.

I've never had a dog by myself, but it reminded me of a dog, called Momo who lives in the place
where I used to homestay.
Now that the family didnt dicipline Momo when he was young,
he pees here and there, he barks at everybody,
and he does whatever he wants to do as same as the dog Marley.
But, he was awesomely sweet!
I was happy that I could experience the life having a pet at home.

Yeah, this movie came out for Christmas holiday.
It's exactly good to watch when you want to feel what family should be!

Momo I miss ya!

京都への１泊２日の旅行。
６０代の両親と弟との家族水入らず４人旅行。

２か月前に計画したのに、紅葉シーズンとの事で既にホテルはほぼ満室

だから、旅行会社主催の新幹線+ホテル１泊っていうパックも予約いっぱい・・・。

大阪に宿泊するという手もあったが、年配両親と一緒だから、やっぱり京都がいい★

ちなみに、じゃらんnet はなんだかんだで、いつも種類も豊富で最後まで予約可能な事が多い。
楽天トラベルや、トラベル子ちゃんなど、色々見るけど、最終的にじゃらんが空いてて、
ポイントも貯めちゃう事が多いのです＾＾

そして残１室を発見
希望通りの４名１室だ！

旅館名は味な宿　旅館こうろ

あとから、京都市内でタクシーに乗った時に、
運転手に聞くと、とっても歴史の古い宿だそうな。
仲居さんのごあいさつもていねいでよかった。　檜風呂もあるし★
そして、何より、アクセスがいいー！烏丸御池駅下車徒歩6分です。
ハイシーズンで、懐石料理１泊２食付き、1名18000円でした。

錦市場まで歩いて2-3分だし♪
ここに泊ってよかったー。

We visited Kyoto for two days, with my parents who are in 60ies and my younger bro.
It's been almost 20yrs since we went on a trip! I was very excited to plan it out!

Unfortunately, we decided to travel 2months before we actually travelled.
So, it was too late to book the cheap tour which travel agencies organize.....
They are usually the cheapest.....like, the price of Shinkansen and accomodation is almost the same price as Shinkansen fee.
Anyway, most of the hotels were also full-booked, and I managed to find only a couple of hotels which were available luckily.

Ive been saving discount points by booking some rooms. It's a pretty good deal.

The name of the ryokan which i booked is Ryokan Kouro.
Later, when we took a cab in kyoto city, i heard that this hotel has a very long history, and it's a very traditional hotel from the taxi driver.
Yeah, the manner of the hotel staffs were pretty nice and kind, and the room was clean , too.

The location was very convinient; 5min-walk from the nearest station, Karasumaru-Oike st. and 3min-walk to Nishiki market, which is famous for shopping and food market.

That was great!! Oh, also, there is a famous coffee shop, Inoda coffee across from the hotel.
the hotel plan we booked was included dinner and breakfast, so we didnt have a chance to try the coffeeshop, but I heard that it was very popular to eat breakfast set there........ hmnnnmaybe, next time.lol

I'd like to go back there again!
